Continuum: Sources and Inner Resources

This workshop, comprised of 3 in-person monthly classes, is suitable for people who would like to discover Continuum, as well as for those who are already familiar with the practice. Much of the explorations will be done lying on the floor, sometimes sitting in a chair, standing, or being on all fours. With each session we will practice a simple breath, vocalized sound and fluid movement sequence to explore the theme of the session. Once the elements are learned participants are encouraged to play with the sequence at their own pace, attending to the felt-sensations and movements emerging from within. Continuum is suitable for people of all ages and physical ability.

  • January 4 : The Gift of Breath and Water: Explore the fluid movement of breath and tissues of the creative living body. Discover how movement is what we are and not just something we do.
  • February 1: The Art of Being Fluid: Inspired by the fluid movement of the jellyfish and the octopus, explore your fluidly moving diaphragm and in relation to your tentacular limbs.
  • March 1: The Heart of Being: Inspired by the radiating heart field, explore the subtle spacious energy emitting from the heart centre to the upper limbs and through every cell of your entire body.

  • Time: 1:15pm-3:45pm
  • Fee: $105 ; single class $40
  • Location: Naada Yoga studios, 5540 Casgrain ave., Montreal
  • To sign up: reception@naada.ca or 514-510-3274

Continuum: and the Space Between ………….. 2025

What do we experience when we bring our attention to stillness and to the invisible? What movements arise, what potency of life can emerge? In this workshop we will explore the nuances that live in the pauses between breaths, the felt-sensations between movements, the space between actions. From the micro to the macro, we will enter “in between” and ride the waves that carry us into the unimagined intimacy and immensity of being.

Practicing Continuum helps us slow-down in our otherwise fast-paced life. It gives us time to rest, to recuperate, to engage the imagination and to awaken our creative nature. We feel revitalized, well with ourselves, with others and the world around us.
